MORE news

Just when I thought my life was exciting enough, I find out tonight that I'm going to Frankfurt, Germany next week for work. I've had a passport for about seven years now and now I finally get to use it.

If anyone has any tips about travelling to Europe and dealing with jet lag, please let me know. The farthest I've been out of the country is Windsor, Canada.

Frankfort. Wow, have a good time. I was born there, nice place.

Jet lag - stay up the night before or get up earlier than usual and sleep the whole way on the plane. Enjoy customs.

Enjoy the trip and send me photos.

I agree, sleep on the plane otherwise you will be falling asleep at 3pm. Frankfurt is a wonderful city, so many old buildings. Take lots of photos, not like the one blurry ones at the airport!! The only thing I would prepare you for is the cigarette smoking. It is very different from the US and don't be surprised if someone lights up next to you while you are eating. Don't go to any chain restaurants, try the traditional foods. They are different and wonderful.

Most of all - have fun!
